Pro Tip:  “The 3:1 ratio is considered a classic studio ratio, very pleasing to the eye. Shadows are easily evident, but not so dark as to become particularly dramatic. A subtle adjustment of a reflector is usually enough to take flat lighting to the 3:1 look”.
