GH1 Gimbal Head for Still Photography

The GH1 Gimbal Head is a specialized tripod head ideal for use when shooting sporting events, wildlife and bird photography. This versatile 360 degree panorama aluminum head balances the weight of heavy telephoto lenses allowing for quick and smooth needed to capture fast movements found in sports and wildlife. It allows for the rotation of a large telephoto lens around its center of gravity so even cumbersome lenses can be easily manipulated.

The GH1 is packed with features such as the anti-slip/anti-cold finish, tight control locking and rotating knobs, vertical adjustment mounting plate and solid construction. The aluminum alloy makes this gimbal head light yet strong and far more stable than a traditional ball head. It also features a standard female 3/8″ tripod screw thread and an Arca Swiss style 1/4 20 quick release plate for easing mounting of the camera and lens.
